Wots wrong wiv wifes car?
Clio 1.2, 1999
There seems to be an interminnent (gettign more regular) rumbling noise coming from the front of the car.......me thinks wheel bearing at 1st, but when i drove it ,I found that the noice occurs when ya foot is on the clutch or there is any change in power to the road wheels (such as more gas going up hill, or off gas rolling down). The brake pedal does not bring on or stop the noise.
Sound like a clutch issue (64K miles on the clock), but the thing aint slipping.
Release bearing perhaps???
Any comments?? Costs, etc........!?
Cheers,
Matt.

Whats wrong with it? Erm, its a Clio! lol
seriously though... clutch/flywheel/gearbox/driveshaft?
Could just be a vibration of some sort... putting more strain on the engine. Something simple like an engine mount?
