Just to point out how quick they are the lap record at Oulton (not Island) is held by an F1 gearbox kart...

I'm just used to 100CC non-gearbox stuff, but these things are awesome!

Hi,
I saw these go round Croft Racing Cirucuit on the weekend. **** me! They lap fast than the current touring cars, faster than the GT cars etc. To put into a class, they are very similar (overall lap times) to F3 cars, both lap at around 1m:14s with decent driver. No safety features..I really wouldnt drive one but I have things to live for

But you wouldn't really want to take it on a trackday (as per subject), would you? The other cars wouldn't see you and would run you over

I have no camera at the minute mate, but I will sort something out. I had a test run on our street the other night, I didnt push it but it felt quite quick. I think I did a ton max. it got there very quickly as well. I dont trust it yet as I havent stripped it down and played with it. I am going to be very limited where I can take it that is very apparant.

heres a site I found its quite informative if you want to know about the sport.
