What, no fire breathing Subarus?

I see a humble Octavia vRS finished in 9th place, though In fact, before an M3 and an Evo 8

 

Ive read in other forums you own a skoda fabia derv!

As cant get insurance for a V RS. .

 

Old men of my age can get insurance for anything And I don't want to put derv in my vRS - it wouldn't run very well

 

Good man did not bite, allthough those dervs do pull well............

 

Its actually a 4x4 Octy but who cares, thats its third Cannonball without a single mechanical failure

 

And that list makes a lot of sense... a Hummer H2 finishing before two 911's and a TVR

 

Its a test of timekeeping & navigating as well, if you get lost you obviously get penalised, likewise if you enjoy a party tooooooooooo much, roll into bed at about 4 & cant make the morning checkpoint you are penalised as well.

Also to add the Hummer was "driven like he stole it" & was incredibly quick up to 100 mph, we witnessed him overtaking on one section with 2 wheels on the carriageway & 2 on the central reservation which consisted of large stones similar to cobblestones, only bigger & a lot rougher. He truly drove in "the spirit of the Cannonball" & deserved his place
