Underpowered and a bit girly. There's a TRD bodykit that butches it up a bit and I've heard rumours of the Altezza/IS200 turbocharged engine going into some on the Japanese market but seen no evidence over here yet.
The handling is good but they're smaller inside than the last incarnation so if you're tall or wide they're a bit cramped.
I've seen rusting in the locating points for the hardtop on models only months old, so watch out for that, other than that no reported problems.
a nadge under 8 secs to 62mph and cruises nicely well over the legal limit: if you can take the wind noise.

I think for c£3,000 and a trip to Millway you can get a turbo conversion done and end up with about 220 horses. You'll need a lot of hay mind.
