Default Audi Coupe and S2

I always quite liked these, seems like quite a few variants are good, but S2 sounds awesome, yet I rarely see it coming up in any discussions or recomendations when people put up price brackets for new cars, that it fits into!?

Is there something i am missing? Are they a bore to drive or something?

Cheers,

Nick

I was racing one on Saturday at croft, and they are still very good cars. It was the avant varient and although well maintained it was a bit rough around the edges from all the track day it does, however it was quick and handled reasonably well and of course sounded great. They are good cars, better than the RS2, but they are heavy and the handling is ok and like all dub stuff, massivly underbraked. But they car see 300hp, porsche brakes drop on and where do i start with suspension. They do have a different four wheel drive system to the quattro i believe - but not sure.

I had a 2.2 n/a coupe version and ownership of such a car is good, reliable and solid. I would recomend.

I'm interested to know why you think they are better than a RS2 which was developed by Porsche from the S2.

The 4 Wheel drive system is the Torsen diff Quattro system.

http://s2central.net/ would be the place for you then
They were slagged a bit at the time for not driving as well as a ur quattro (The original wide body one) but they're a good car for the money IMO
