Default bmw z3 coils springs front and rear.

Hello,

Hope someone can point me in the right direction, my girlfriend has just been told she needs new coils springs on he Z3 (not sure front or back i have to speak to the garage).

can someone recomend somewhere to buy some springs and advise on the way to change them. I have done MacPherson struts and rear coils, i was just wondering if any special tools are required for a Z3.

Thanks for any help,

Pete

Thanks for that, BMW leicester wanted £310 just for springs (two) but got some priced at £130 so think she will go with them.

only £40 fitting so i dont need to get my hands dirty (dont mind the impreza but have to draw the line)

As for the tool....... tell me about it, one day she will see the light

ps. europarts dont do standard springs so no luck there, did have a man who said he would make them www.coilsprings.co.uk ... worth knowing.....

Are you sure their not the Struts that need replacing, as these are a weak point on the Z3's (fronts), I have just replaced them on my Partner's?
