Question Honda warranty.

Took our CRV in for its 37500 mile service yestrday, and MOT as its now 3 years old.
Enquired about extending the warranty, and got quoted £375 for 12 months!

However, that does now include wear and tear. So, if the discs need changing, there's no charge. However, you still pay for alll the regualr service parts and labour.

The "check sheet" they give you indicates all major items, apart from a tyre at 4mm, are green, so I cant see whats going to go this year. As we only do 8k miles pa, I'm really undecided as to whether to take it out or not.

Any views?

I would Take out the warranty as if any thing else goes wrong, Alternator, Gearbox, any sensor then your covered.

On the whole Honda's are very very reliable

If you skip it this year, will they give you anything next year? Or does it always have to be in warranty to buy another?

just make sure you read the small print before signing up for anything.

the honda tech that i spoke to (about an extended warranty for my accord) advised me that there are a great number of things that aren't covered so to make sure before handing over any cash.
