Default Saab 9-3 Aero (9-3 Aero sportwagon)

I might have a rival to my pending forester ownership as I just found out I can get up to 16% off new. Gives me a spec'd up £25K motor for around £20K

Test drive tomorrow 2 litre turbo with 210 hp for the Aero, would be good to see the the sportwagon which has a 2.8 V6 turbo with 250 hp.

Just bought the old shape 9-3 Eco turbo and its great, they new one will be superb and its not as obvious as the alternatives, really well built and a lot quicker than I imagined it would be.

I've got a 04 Aero. Great car.

For 500 notes you can buy a BSR PPc which takes the stock 210 to 250 BHP with the 2 Litre motor - 5 minute job via the ODBII port, and its reversable for servicing etc.

Any Q's give me a shout.

Nope wrong again, the suspension is completely different, the SAAB has passive rear wheel steering, ohh and a completely different interior, the engine is basically the same, the AER0 engine is the same as the vectra 2.2 but downsized to 2.0 litres for greater reliabilty with the turbo added.

For the money the SAAB is fantastic quality and more importantly isnt German.

Took a drive in one at the weekend, very nice and the performance was surprising.

Now does anyone want to buy a used MX-5?

And your point is ?

GM own the brand and many others, like Ford with Jaguar and Aston Martin. Window switches in the Aston are from a Mondeo but its still an Aston.

Also Ferrari spares have Fiat on the box. Does that not make them parts for Ferrari's ?

a very well made point, the core chassis and engine blocks may be the same but many part are different between the two marques

Saab will always be 2nd rate Audi/BMW wannabe's. Buy German m8, you know it makes sound finanical sense.

Wannabes - maybe but without the price tag and with all the toys and performance to match, plus I don't get the money off BMW or Audi 16% plus and extra £750 give me a £27000+ car for around £22K not to be sniffed at. Please there's the 250hp wagon out next month
