Freelander values ?
Been offered a Freelander in PX for the Scoob and the GF likes the idea of one.
Anyone know the book values for these:
99 T Reg
2.0 di
3 door.
removable Hardback
FSH,EW,EM,Alloys etc.
Also have any of you had experience of owning one? Are they really as unreliable as people say?
Thanks,
Dave.

i picked up a 98S 2.0XEDI 3dr yesterday, had a couple of the usual problems which i've learnt of - boot storage (under the lid) full of water (due to dodgy rear door seal, fixed by putting 2 slits in bottom of seal), clock display missing some digits (got seller to fit new clock).
The diesels are the best freelanders to go for, the 1.8 petrols have a problem with headgaskets going and are supposed to be thirsty and noisy.
When i emailed a few sellers on ebay about their selling prices (98 - 99 models) they varied from £6500 to £8000 and these were high mileages (70k - 110k)
I fitted an A bar with projectors, foglights, woodtrim kit, sidesteps, headlightguards and 17"s this weekend and with the dark tints (already fitted) it looks great, there's so much you can do to them - looking at tuning boxes next

Dont forget that the new model Freelander is coming soon so current model values will take a tumble.
