Default 2nd Car Future Classic/Classic Car Insurance

Anyone know any companies that do the stated insurance for my 205 GTi?

It does about 1k miles a year, maybe a fraction more and lives in the garage, renewal from Liv Vic is 500, but thats ridiculous for the use it gets (although it is just a normal policy without restrictions).

Need a few co's that do classic insurance to give a bell......

why not do what i do with my series 1 rs turbo, i have laid up cover for the winter then just insure for the road for the summer, it works out loads cheaper unless you use the car all year.

Ring A Plan insurance, they've mirrored my NCB onto the Scoob (modded) & have been v flexible with mileage limitations, agreed values etc. (& are much cheaper than the competiton / classic "specialist" insurers.)

I need to do this soon, never quite understand why you cant insure 2 cars on 1 policy as you can only drive 1 at a time.

I know there's the theft issue, but they could work it all out as a package.

Which is exactly what A plan did for me ! Insurance is easy to do yourself......when it's straight forward, anything unusual and the "insurance direct" call centres can't deviate from the script or make decisions, which when a broker can help.
(528i Fully comp, a modded Impreza with limited miles & TPF&T, & one NCB mirrored on both cars. total premium ..... £880 pa !)

Cheers all - I'l give them a bash.

Liv Vic do 2 cars on 1 policy, but the 205 renewal is 500 and I'm not paying that for the use it does. They won't insure me on the GTR until I'm 30...........

I have 9 years NCB on the GTR, and seperately 2 years on the Pug.........
