Question Mini Turbo

Has anybody got any advice, tips on finding any good books on turbo charging engines. As I'm building a Turbo Mini at the moment and there seems to be little information around on turbo equipment. I would like to know about carbs vs injection and what systems/manufacturers are good i.e. fuel enrichment, anti lag, ignition systems, etc?

There is a place in Peterborough called Williams 01733892733. I'm sure he had one at Trax 2 years ago with something like 200 bhp
Sure he has a web site but can't find it.

Could try this site

Read David Vizards Tuning BL's A-series engine and Corky Bells book ("Turbocharging" I think? Can't remember the name of it)

Probably easiest to get hold of a complete Metro Turbo to do the transplant.

Personally I would go for the Honda VTEC transplant instead. You can buy the complete kit to do the conversion and it is going to be slightly more reliable (massive understatement) than a Turbocharged A series engine.

I reckon bike engines make more sense. Surely a V6 is going to ruin the handling?? Hayabusa engine?? 160 bhp without the weight penalty.

I had a Metro Turbo that was a steaming pile of crap...oh and don't forget A series gearboxes can only cope with 5 psi of boost!!
