Does anybody have any idea if this 3.0l twin turbo 268bhp lump from the current 5 series and to be in the 335d when it comes out is going to be in the X5 and when???

Dealers are saying when the new X5 comes out in 2006, but cant see em running the new 'super' diesel in the 3 and 5 and not in the X5??

Any info would be apreciated!!

The 4.8is is supposed to be a very good machine lots of guys switching out of porkers, M cars etc to this car.

Gets very good right ups for it's A to B ability

Would have thought the twin turbo was a cert, the Rally Raid X5 already has a version of this engine .

No they aren't ugly...oceans obviously got issues with BMW's LOL.

My mate has the standard 3.0l diesel on order, he was worried that if the new one came out later this year he'd be hit quite quick in depreciation atthough they are pretty good, but as dealers are dealers they never know anymore than whats in the showroom that day!

Be a bugger if his came in march (early as someone gave backword and put it off to september) and the twin turbo came out, bet its sweet with that motor in!!
