Default Cheapest way of buying VW Transporter T5 170BHP

Hi all. Just wondering if someone could maybe help me out here. Im looking at buying a Transporter T5 2.5TDi 170BHP LWB in Metallic Black. Prices over here in Southern Ireland are mad nearly 28 000 euros inc VAT !!! The thing is if I buy in the UK I wont have to pay any VAT up front which suits me better. If any of you folks have suggestions I would be very grateful. Thanks in advance for replies.

P.S Has anybody got the above Van? If so your thoughts on it please.

Simon.

I was speaking to a guy a month or so ago, and he had just had a new VW Transporter T5 (170bhp), and he reckons it's incredible. Lecky windows, central locking, cruise control, traction control!!! 6-speed box, the works! He says it's as comfortable as driving a car, and very quiet cruising. It goes like stink (needing the traction control!!!) but yet is very economical on a run.
l'm sure he said he'd paid £15995 for it, and it was 1 model down from top of the range. He may be a little biased as he had 3 transporters previous to this one, but I was definatley impressed with it, beats my Transit.

My nearest and dearest works for a VW commercial vehicle centre in Sussex. They sell vans all round the country.

If you want a quote or to talk to the sales manager about anything PM me your number and she'll get him to ring you.

YHM back. She's also suggested you look at the diamond pearl colour.

Default Sourced 1

I think I have managed to source a good deal today!! VW Transporter T5 2004 2.5 TD 130 BHP White SWB with only 3k on the clock for £11000!! Its not exactly what I was after but at that price it will do nicely. What do you guys think?

P.S. Chris, Dave called me alright, he said he would email a price to me yesterday but it still hasnt arrived! I called him today and left my num but he never got back to me!! He must be very busy?

Simon.
