Petrol or diesel?
How much and how serious off-road? Use in snow much?
How many miles/km per year?
I chose a Rav4 as I wanted a reliable diesel family car that wasn't very long and wouldn't go off-road and drove well on-road. Your needs may well be different.

I think that the Forester will give the best handling out of the cars you have listed. It is the most car like. What Forester models are available in Turkey?
I had a current shape Forester in Australia with the 2.5l NA engine. It had reasonable performance (0-100km/h in 9.5 secs) and the handling was ok. If you want better on road handling, you need to upgrade at least the rear anti roll bar with a Sti one (or from an after market company like Whiteline).
Since i left Oz, the 2.5 litre turbo Forester was released. From what i read on the Australian MRT forums, the 2.5 litre turbo can be seriously quick with an exhaust and ecutek upgrade.

I would have gone for the RAV4 or the Forester from that lot. I would discount the Freelander on quality and reliability issues alone.
CR-V i drove the old shape and was completely underwhelmed with the handling. Not sure about the newer ones tho'

i'd wait for the crv with the i-ctdi engine as you'll then have one of the best soft roaders coupled to (arguably) the best diesel lump in production right now.

RAV4 without a doubt. LWB or SWB.
2L SWB petrol is a fair bit quicker than you would imagine, and much cheaper to run than a turbo forrester. Handling is very good as well.
Look much better in black or silver than any forrester.
It will also be more reliable and be better value for money.
