Modded Skyline GTS
my mate imports cars so.......
last nite i went out in this thing!!
300+ bhp, gtr bodykit, "Drift spec" rear diff
coilovers etc etc
it was my first time out in a skyline, and it wasnt what i was expecting, it confused me
the driver started doing donuts and i couldnt work out why the front end wasnt pulling it out, compleatly forgot about them being RWD only, but it can not half spin around for fun, did a few acceleration style blasts down the road, it never seams to run out of revs, just kept pulling and pulling and pulling
i was actually pretty impressed, he says the GTR is cheaper to insure (because its more "safe") anybody else know anymore on gtr and gts insurance?

What was your opinion on it compared to a scoob - I sold a good JDM classic to decided to go for this. Good spec too coil overs etc big FMIC should be fun And before anyone starts im talking about "feel" - its big and back wheel drive and doesnt go round corners we know
I agree on the pulling bit it just never seems to end !

i felt it was totaly diffrent from the scoob, ovb i didnt drive it but from the passenger seat its bigger and more long distance hauler, but everybody knows this anyways
i would own one to be honest, but it would be a little later in life, i felt like my jdm classic was a lot more nimble and probably a hell of a lot more safe, the one i went out in is set for drifting really so it wouldnt be fair to comment on its grip and stuff, but it seamed really controlable when going compleatly sideways
ill have to go out in a GTR sumtime, if i was going to get one it would probably be a GTR

Completely different cars though.
I have an Evo & a R33 GTR & although the Skyline feels about twice the size it is surprisingly nimble.
Down a proper country road the Evo would be quicker, due to the sheer size difference, but in most other scenarios there really isnt much in it.
You just need to have the faith to chuck the Skyline about
