Can any car do a 10 sec quarter mile in standard form?.......
I doubt it. However the new Caterham CSR 260 might have a good chance, or maybe the Ultima that broke the 0-100-0 record..... which will soon be taken back by the CSR...
You have got to be pushing 600bhp/ton to break 10 secs and I dont know any other production car that comes close??

The standard Mclaren F1 was only 11.3secs. The F1 LM might get close, as it had more power and a shorter ratio gearbox, but only 5 ever made. The Ultima should be in the 10's, but it won't break it.
