hi thinking of buying a 325is 1990 g reg anyone owned one driven one shagged in one last one just kidding!!!
thinking of going over to the normally aspirated rwd side of things looking at buying a 325i or the sports version 325is with lsd and mtec suspension.
interested in knowing your views.
how fast are they anyone raced any in the past?

performance wise its got to be as fast as a cavalier 2litre 16v (redtop engine) or it wont do. i rate the 16v cavy as being quite quick.

I've had a few E30's including 325i- about 170bhp and very smooth. Not that quick though but lots of tail out fun. Once went round a wide deserted roundabout 5 or 6 times in tail out fashion just for the hell of it.
Don't know how it compares to the Cav but they are great cars. Think the cylinder head is the wek point on these cars.
