The normal CC8S has 655bhp and looks very very fast, but I am not aware of any figures on that either.
From the acceleration point of view, and using my site, the estimated figures come up as..
Power at Flywheel (BHP) 806
Weight without Driver (KG) 1180
Drive Type Rear Wheel Drive (RWD)
Power To Weight Ratio (BHP/Ton) 694.02
0-60mph (Secs) 2.79
0-100mph (Secs) 5.01
60-100mph (Secs) 2.21
Quarter Mile (Secs) 10.39 @ 147.07 MPH
Drag Quarter Mile (Secs) 10.29 @ 148.73 MPH
Could ve very quick then!

NISR227, I am surprised by the lack of interest on the car and the huge amount of praise the Mclaren has got.
Ok all things are due, the Mclaren is normally aspirated etc. so a great feat of engineering. But I have seen the Koenigsegg in the flesh parked in Kew and the car is gorgeous. Never seen a car wih such presence and a car so rare.

Quicker than a Mclaren F1? Quite probably. Sub 6 to 100? Maybe, but it won't do a 5.01. Sorry, not meaning to rubbsh your site, but I don't believe that as a figure.
Recently Ultima picked up the 0-100-0 record, with a N/A car weighing just under a tonne, and pulling 640bhp Similar power to weight ratio in a GT race series proven chassis (i.e decent traction) - and that took 5.9 0-100. And it costs a lot less than the Mclaren or the Koenigsegg, and I somehow suspect all three will beat a scoob through the twisties.

Autocar magazine got hold of one for the road tests. It didn't come even close to the claimed performance figures, notching up fairly average times. They said it didn't feel like it was producing anywhere near the claimed power output.

Hades, i'm not personally saying it will do 5seconds to 100, but its between 60-100 where the extra bhp should show up providing the areodynamics are as good as they say they are, and as I said earlier, "if" it has the quoted bhp then it wouldn't be too far off, but I agree with an earlier comment, a few mags have tested the current car and got no where near the expected figures, so it questions the bhp levels. But if it does have a 806bhp then its a similar power to weight than the fastest of the rare but genuine 1000bhp Skylines who can go that fast, but have better traction, it would have the potential if it was as fast as they led us to believe.
By the way, the ultima (640 spec) is on on list, and gets nearly spot on figures acheived, which is interesting.

Is the Bugatti officially out yet?
Seems to be delayed again and again......possibly waiting to be adapted to share the same chassis as the MK5 VW Golf
