Seeing I'm after an 80's Porsche 911

I've noticed alot of the cars made in this era are white...

I'm not sure if it's a white sock or a Miami Vice thing, but most of the ones in my price bracket seem to be white

Now, it's not my prefered colour, but a thought occured that it would looked pretty cool if it was done in the Martini race livery of the 70's Moby Dicks

I've tried to find some pics of 911RSR's with the stripes, but with little success, and I'm not keen on the martini livery on other race 911's.

Anyhoo, what do you reckon? Daft? Stupid? Fast 'n Furious (although far more creative than the halfords stick on stuff)? Chav? or Cool?

And where the hell would I get someone to design, print, and fix it. I do have contacts for sign writers for vans and stuff, but this maybe out his league

I could have sworn I've seen a picture of a road going Porsche 996 with Martini stripes (would be a better resemblence to what I want to do).....

If i were you, i would book a plane ticket to germany and go find a nice RUF or mint LHD car. it will save you a fortune and get you a much better car with choice !!!

P.S A friend of mine did that and bought a BMW E30 H35. A very rare car indeed, and the cost £2700. Thats cheaper than a UK sport, or a 320IS ?!?

As appealing as it is, I'd rather not like having to reverse in and out of pay and display car parks so I can take the ticket or pay the bloke at the kiosk

Perhaps when I emigrate (maybe happen sooner than I expect)
