Default Anyone driven a Lexus GS 300?

Possibly looking to buy a 97/P plate Lexus and I was wondering if anyone had experience of the car before I start arranging testdrives.

A local (ish) one is being sold for £5,500, on a P plate with 67,000 miles.

Reliable is about all i can think of about a lexus.

As long as it is a UK car with full dealer history you can't go far wrong -

try http://www.parkers.co.uk/choosing/ca...x?model_id=425

My dad has a GS 300, import....got all the buttons and also has the 3litre twin turbo engine.....its like an jet engined armchair.....absolutely flies

Non very good on the twisties though...although does have a front strut brace as standard on the imports...

overall...loads of car for your money....mpg not the best

Thanks for the replies chaps. I'm phoning the seller tonight for some background. I'm looking for something for the daily 70 mile motorway roundtrip - which also involves a lot of stop/start for queues (hence the Auto).

Richard.
