Question New Ignis Sport - Opinions?

Having been told of it's decent review in EVO I went to take a look at one at a local Suzuki garage.

I thought the white alloys (with asymetric Yoko Advans) were cool in a cheesey kind of way, and the VVT engine pushes out a decent 107 -ish bhp - which is enough for a light car. I managed to fit in it too (not bad as I'm 6ft 6) although there would be no room in the back!

Not sure about the handling, but the bumph from the dealer had a review comparing it to it's JWRC sister car which said it was pretty good. The JWRC spec one looks v.interesting!!! 213bhp per tonne / 0-60 in about 4.5s.

Dealer had what seems a good price of 7995 otr (2K off list, no free insurance). Thought this might be a good bet for a semi-peppy city car, probably more reliable than the SportKa or C2 VTS - although it's not as "cute" or modern looking.

Has anyone driven one?

I suppose "gutless" is relative, drove my mum's Ka which despite being fun to drive did need more power - Guess it depends on what you are driving now, if it's a 300bhp+ scoob then it probably would feel a bit slugish!

Very good value compared to alot of simlar cars sportka, vts etc. I should also imagine it to be better screwed together than some of the others too.

Drove one, though it was pretty good for the money (£9k at the time) but couldn't really get on with the styling. Bought the C2 GT (another homoligation special) instead even though I know bits will probably fall off it .

Cheers
