RX8
Are these faster than my S2000 ? I think the guy at work is a bit put out that my car is now the best in the carpark hahahaha, but claims his (standard) will "outperform it".

No chance (although the gap won't be massive).
0-100 in S2000 is 14.3
0-100 in RX8 is 15.9
I had an s2000 and was firmly quicker than the RX8s there on the day at silverstone last year. A couple of the RX8 drivers I spoke to said they couldn't keep up on the straights and round the twisties their RX8s understeered too much. Apparently easy-ish to drive fast though, quite forgiving etc. Nice cars all in all but need more go. Good cars to learn rwd and tracking in though, the formula women use them for this reason I believe (and a bit of mazda sponsership no doubt )

Kick his (rotary) backside, Andy...
Mind you, they both sound like hoovers and he doesn't have to drive around with a boot full of crimping irons, curlers, frizzease, etc...

A lot of magazine tests have had the RX-8 nearer 20 secs to 100. I ordered one, test drove it and realised how slow it was. Not get up and go, especially for a car that drinks more than your average park drunk
