Default Renault Avantime

Not for one moment suggesting buying one but I saw a light Mettalic blue one today (havent seen one for ages) and I like them, I know its a 2 door espace and the doors dont actually work but its such a pointless item you cant help but admire Renault for persevering with it against the ineviatable.

Anyone else ?

Saw one on the M4 the other day, certainly eye-catching!! (same colour actually, were they all Blue??)

Was this the first of the "fat ar$e" designs that they seem to have carried through to the rest of the range, a la the Ford "edge" design?

Still, good luck to them - at least the design is novel and it's not just another large MPV...

'Still, good luck to them '

Er, actually they have stopped making it due to it being a flop, not enough people were persuaded out of a 5 series to make it worth the effort.

Pretty crazy car. You may find that it holds it's value pretty well in coming years. They are certainly rare

I like it, would have loved to have seen a convertible version. Still, liking it and buying it are 2 entirely seperate things

Ooh, there's an 03 reg V6 model on Autotrader with delivery miles for £18k, thats £10k off list!

I'll get one when they hit £2000 but before they go back up

Yep, it was such a sales disaster that it resulted in the closure of the Matra plant that made it ... oddly enough there's a bloke down our road that's got one. Fugly as hell though (the car, not the bloke)
