Unhappy Mondeo MKIII - fading exterior plastic trim

My black Mondeo is suffering from a bad dose of fading plastic trim - primarily around the wing mirrors but also on the bumper strips.

Have tried the usual stuff (Back to Black & Megiars trim detailer) to no avail.

Other than trade in and buy another car has anyone got any suggestions?

Thanks
Paul

Peanut butter apparently works ... or I find that the Autoglym 'thick snot' (bumper cleaner with green label) always works on the girlfriend's 2001 Mondeo.

Thumbs up

The Autoglym Bumper Cleaner will fetch it back to black, no probs.
