Default A4 Quattro Sport

I'm looking in to buying a W Reg. 1.8QTS, it has 57K on the clock. I'll be new to Audi ownership and I'm hoping you can give me to pointers and things to look out for. What sort of "normal" driving mpg should I hope for and if my right foot gets a little heavy, what should I expect then. Are these cars a target for thieving scum bags?

Any help greatly appreciated.

Cheers,

Leigh

I had a couple of A4 quattros (but not the 1.8T) and now have a 4x4 Octavia with the same engine, but Jabba remapped to 220bhp, I kid you not. A lot depends on your driving style and type of journeys but my worst full tank in the Octavia was 22 and the best 38. I'm averaging 28mpg but 32-34 is typical when I get on the motorway.

FWIW I think that the 4wd system on that age A4 is the best of any I've owned. Which is 16 4x4 road cars. Enjoy!

and the A4 is super-nice on the inside. Decent ride but dont expect it to be super-quick. Decent enough
