Your probably looking at between 2 and 2 1/2 grand in my mind? But it really depends what kind of condition its in to be fair and what your willing to pay for it.

The 205 engines are better to work on than the Renault 1.2 units, and generally more reliable as well.

If you know Renaults, then you'll know the French use strange fixings and fastenings rather than normal bolts etc

LAD are widely hated in Peugeot circles, just do a search on 205 GTi Drivers

Their engine work isn't highly praised

The driver came and found me at the end of the lap to shake my hand and say he was trying as hard as he could and really enjoyed it..........At least this time i have witnesses though lol. That made my whole weekend for sure.......

Looks like its based on a none-GTi from those pics, std 1.1 dash and closed rear windows.

Doesn't sound like a bad little first rally car, although the jobs that need doing, added to the plated sunroof would mark it down for me. Seat belts and extinguishers are not cheap. £2200-2300 would be more like it. Certainly wouldn't like to build one for that money.

If its a rally car you're after I would spend a little more, look for a 205GTi in Challenge spec, and get out amongst 40 odd identical cars on some decent events on a very level playing field. This car you are looking at restricts you to single venues and club events, competing against some seriously quick 1600 cars and kit cars.

It all depends what you want to do with the car really ...... Rally it / circuit race it or track day car?
Mine is currently a track day car but i may try something else in it soon
