I'm looking at buying a 323 coupe this weekend and was wondering if anyone has owned 1.
It's a 1999V plate with 70k and a few extras, well tbh i have a choice of 2 - the first has cloth interior which looks ok and this is a tip-tronic, the 2nd is a manual but has full beige leather (same age/ mileage/ little bit more money).

The cheapest i've seen at dealers (not franchaised) are £13k - £14k with this mileage - is mileage no big deal as long as it has FSH?

Is there anything to watch out for?

stick with leather and manual.. Mileage is not a problem, but TBH if it was me I would go for the 328 !

check that nicosil(sp) recall has been done and all other factory recalls sorted etc

Nikasil only affected the E36 version of the 3 series - thankfully!

 

Lovely looking car Gza but i've had 3 silver cars and fancy a change (looking at blue ones).
Have you had any problems with yours Gza? what the nikasil thing?

was gonna put the manual 1 with leather at top of list but it's beige :-( i think i'll go for the tip-tronic and buy a black leather interior from a breakers - hmm

 

Ok that was sold when i got there :-(

went to another garage and drove a 325Ci (cosmos black) very smooth, not as quick as my Golf but for refinment it was in a totally different class

going back tommorow to sign on the dotted line

any probs with the 325Ci coupes (70k, 2000x)?
