Hello, just wondering if anybody could give me some web addresses for cheap Rover spares. Girlfriends 25 has a knackered fuel pump and Ive just been quoted £170 for a new one from the dealer.

These pumps are usually a common part across the range. Fuel pumps from local breakers (money refunded if no good) 5-10 quid .... remove it yourself basis ... which I prefer. Are you sure the pump is really faulty... could be relays or electrical connections.... actual pumps rarely give trouble and usually outlive the cars....

As MG-John says...I'd check the fuel pump relay first.

Don't ask me where it is though...I've forgotton (well, tell a lie..too mixed up with old 214/216 and 45's)

I've checked it is the pump. The pump is working just being very noisy, I did make sure it was the pump by pulling the fuse. Thanks for the help guys, I'll try out the sites.
