I have an X-Reg Renault Clio 1.2 MTV (Year 2000).

Following the usual crap service from Renault (Waters Renault in Letchworth), I am still yet to receive my Service Book!

I purchased my car back in September 2003 and the General Manager has promised to me that he will get it sorted out asap. What has offered me is a free service.

Can anyone tell me what service is due after the initial 6k service?

It's currently sitting on 23k & I have no idea if it's had one done since it's 6k!

Any thoughts would be appreciated :-)

Call Renault customer service, they'll tell you what needs doing.

 

The service at 6K isn't an official service, I think they only check the car over. You were acutally very lucky to get that!

The next time the car should have got serviced was at 18K miles! I hope the Renault dealership acknowledges their mistake, because if they don't, you have no warranty im affraid!

Well I was told that the car was serviced when I brought it back in September but now they are telling me that they have no record of that being done and there have been so many staff changes that its been near impossible to get this far with it!

So all I know is that there was possibly a 6k service done and nothing since then!

I wanted to report them to the Trading Standards but just want to sell the bloody thing now and forget about it!

Please can someone just copy what their Service Book says onto this post so that I know which grade/level service Im owed when I go back to claim my free one?
