Question Help needed with a Civic CAT

If you remove the CAT from a 97 civic VTEC 1.8 will it still get through the M.O.T. and will it cause any damage.....any info wud be great.....

strictly speaking even if it manages to pass the emmisions test it should fail because the MOT tester can clearly see the car has no CAT.

However if you get an 'understanding' MOT tester or if you get a decat pipe that looks like a proper CAT........
