Just driven a Cupra R!
I`ve just driven a friend at works Seat Cupra R(225 version)
Wow... what an engine... very smooth and no lag at all... loads of grunt.
Nice handling too...I`m impressed.
I have a MY95 Uk wagon and it feels slow now...Until it comes on boost.
1.8 never felt so good!

A mates got one and its chipped (RR'd at 260 @ Dubsport) very smooth and very quick (once its rolling anyway). In the wet though 1st and 2nd gears produce what we've called "disco light dashboard" with the amount of flashing going on from the TCS light.
