Default Fiesta as a second car?

I do about 2 miles to work each day and the car's not even warming up, plus it's chewing oil at an alarming rate.

So, I'm thinking about getting a second car as a run about - something like a Fiesta would be fine. All I really want is air con, but Fiesta's with this option are a couple of grand more than what I wanted to spend. Probably will spend up to £3K.

What other cars are around that have air con and are below £3K? Looked at 106's etc, but no air con.

I used to walk 2 miles to work every day. It took me 25 mins, cost me nothing, I didn't have to worry about finding a parking space and kept me fit! The only down side is if it's windy and raining, but then I took a bus instead sometimes.

I forgot the main advantage of walking... You can get p**sed after work and not worry about it!!!
