Anyone see the Ford Connect X-Press van in the Sun today?

0-60 in 7 and 0-100 in 10 means 3 seconds from 60 to 100!!!! or hmmm

 

0-60/62 in under 7 and then 0-100 in under 10.... hmmm, with a standard RS engine and a heavy body. Rather unlikely. If it had 350-400 BHP then the 100 in under 10 would be believable IMHO.

They did make a better one

 

Not as quick as the tranny they had a few years back with the F1 engine in!

 

The F1 engined one was a late model Renault Espace wasnt it, crazy frogs

 

Renault did the Espace

Ford did the Transit (F1 engine from Benneton team)

 

i used to have one of them F1 engined espaces, it was ****!

I can't see 212bhp getting a van to 100mph in under 10 seconds. Unless it's seriously lightweight. I'd expect nearer 17secs.

There's been a few V8 and cossie vans around and they'll be much quicker than this "worlds fastest van"

They can do what they like to an Espace, (or any other people carrier for that matter), but it is, and will always be, a van with windows!

....ah.. but most Tranny's (thats vans,not men dressed as women) do that sort of speed, uphill,outside lane, arm out of window, driver havin' a *** an' a cup o' tea whilst reading the Sun.....

p.s I've got a Connect ( silver NOT white) and I WISH mine was that fast!
