Question intercooler a non-intercooled

hi,
the bmw 325TD (1993) only has 115bhp ish and the 325tds has 150 bhp ish. the TDS is intercooled, and have the opourtunity to get hold of a 325td, how hard is it to fit an 'cooler' to it? has any one done this before and is it cheap to do? hope someone can help me, cheers!

Not sure about the engine management side of things, but fitting the actual cooler itself should be no harder finding a place to put the matrix, and cutting into the inducton pipework. Can't be as hard as fitting a turbo technics kit to an N/A motor, which in itself is pretty straightforward
