Peugeot / Renault question
Does anyone know if pads from the front calipers on my old 205 gti 1.9 track car will fit the standard calipers on my Mk1 Clio (ex-cup) new track car, which is on standard disks plus unknown compound pagid pads?

Highly unlikely. More likely to match brakes on a Citroen since its a Peugeot/Citroen partnership for years, plus there are different braking systems on the 205 depending on year/car.........

I'm sure I read somewhere on the 205gtid recently though, some bloke realised the Megane Coupe caliper was the same as the Girling Pug item.
Dont quote me though, may be wrong.

I have a pack of Ferodo DS Performance pads in front of me which I still haven't got round to fitting.
Just noticed the application list on the back is:
Peugeot
205 1.9 GTi
Renault
Clio 2.0 Williams 16v
Clio II 1.4i, 1.6i 16v
Megane Coupe
Twingo 1.1
Super 5 GT Turbo

Some 205s used bendix brakes which were the same as renault ie also bendix the pads were the same size but a different layout as they were offset but they did fit
Think all the real 205s use real brakes though
