Smartcar ???
Want something totally different for fun car. Thinking of Smart Turbo'd car. Any good for 250 miles a week ?
Want something cheap as runaround so I can move closer to my Scooby.

Sit in one and they feel very very nice, and quite nippy too, esp with a chip in there. Its just they look a bit girly and high up from the outside, which is why my sis didn't go for one.
Still quite cool though, and paddle shift is funky.

They're OK
It very much depends what you're doing.
We have one as a second car to the scoob, and its great during the week - take my son to school, wifes use it for work.
On the positive side,
*It's quite fast
*Fun to drive
*Easy to park
*Economical and cheap to run
*Modable
On the negative side
*It's a two seater, so you have to think about how you'll use it
*The boot isn't big
*It's a bit lively when windy
*There aren't too many dealers, so you could have to travel for service
*Expensive to buy, but they do seem to hold their value quite well
I would recommend the padles and the power steering
Smartynet is worth a look
