Default Seat Leon Cupra R

Had a bit of a play with one of the above earlier.............damn these things are fast I thought......there didnt seem much in it.

Later found out it had been Jabba'd to 286bhp, which would explain why it was about quick as me!!!

Nice car though.

Have now found out it had the dynatwist induction thingy too........which the owner reckons has loosened things up even more.....

Will have to have a proper run at him next time I see it.

Im sure he'll be up for it!!

[Thread hijack]Cupramax - dont suppose you know how easy it is to fit a new front splitter to the bottom of the front bumper do you ? Ripped mine off on Saturday and its scuffed to buggery now. At least its only 19.01 + vat for a new one !!

My LCR 225 has 1300 miles on now and it really flies. It has surprised me how quick it is. Definitely feels quicker than my old bugeye WRX.

Thumbs up

Dave, they're easy to do. Just a few screws under the bottom of the bumper.

Cupramax,

Its a Tek3 WRX estimated at 280-290bhp. We were pretty evenly matched on the brief squirt we had down a dual carriageway.

I have no idea what is actually faster but I reckon it would be close.

Sounds nice, probably very little between the two in the dry. Wouldn't want to do the same in the wet though
