Just had a serious look at the Nissan 350Z, as a possible replacement.
Not very impressed with the build quality to say the least. It is very nice to look at, but I wonder how long all that silver painted plastic in side the car will stay looking good !

What do you lovely people think ?

Cheers

I had read about poor quality in the cabin but was quite impressed when I saw it in the flesh. Many cars now have the painted metal effect - no reason to suppose Nissan's paint is any worse than anyone else's.

Ive had mine a couple of months. Get a creak from the rear when cold, but nothing after that. It seems well built, although the plastics could be better quality. Not had to revisit the dealer for anything yet. Have not seen many problems on the 350Z BBS either.

On the steering wheel spoke finishers they have small aluminium sheets cut to fit, so a lot better than cheapo silver paint so should last well.

Would like one myself but will have to wait...

well, its got Right Wheel Drive.

I'd say got for it.

Personally when I get a car, the cabin is not a priority in my choosing.

Cool 350Z impressions

test drove a 350Z and very much impressed, looking very seriously at replacing the scoob in July (end of lease) with a 350Z rather than a 3rd scoob. Performance is good, build quality looked spot on.. and at the moment it is still not a common site on the road. Not sure where Clarkson came from on topgear, he did not rate it, but was informed it was not a UK spec one

Cheers

Jim
