Fiat Servicing
#1
Just picked up my Punto Sporting from my local Fiat dealer, it’s just had it’s 2nd year service. Last year it’s 1st year service was £105 which was only an oil change which I thought was bad, well this year was again an oil change and spark plugs and it was wait for it..... £220!!!!! **** me it’s only a Punto not a bloody BMW or a Merc.
Oh and they washed it that makes it all worth it.

Fiat charge silly money for servicing, I took my old Punto Sporting to them once and after getting charged £140 for oil and a filter change I never went back again. When I got my GT I used to do the lot plugs, fuel filter, oil filter, oil (mobil 1 motorsport) etc... every 6k and it only cost about £85 and 2 hours of my time.

that's about the right price, rover, ford, suabru etc charge similar ammounts.
Oil and filter change on MY99 which took them just over 1 hour to do cost me £130. Better off doing it yourself unless it's under warranty

As long as you use fiat parts you can get it serviced at any garage.I thought £85 was expensive it took them 11 min to do the oil and filter on my grale and then they took it for a road test for 15 min. This was all done while i watched .The mechanics were unaware i was in reception waiting,And they were also unaware i was a friend of the owner of the garage. Conclusion was Free oil and filter change ,£10 each from the ***** who thought you should road test after an oil change towards my petrol,And a very big bollocking!!
