My friend had one for a while...
Quick for a small engine, and the VTEC-E for Economy is a decent, strong reliable engine if given good regular servicing and maintenance.
Returns good MPG on a run as well, which is the beauty of the V-tec system.
Enjoy it mate...
Cheers,
Grant

nice1, thank you, presuming honda had a good reliability track record, I did realise it was the economy, done a little search on google but only thing I found was 45.7 MPG sounds great to me.

Not sure about the earlier ones, but I know the later ones had a wee green "economy" light that came on when cruising.. Just to let you know that you are driving like a granny returning max MPG!!
IIRC they come with 115bhp, which is enough to make it quite a nippy wee car.
Cheers,
Grant

a work colleague of mine bought one of these a couple years back, your looking at old XR3i peformance roughly, so not terrible for what is meant as an economy motor. I think he was getting mid 40s out of it without really trying
