Surely this has to be a joke. It's so f**king ugly (mind you, Damian McTaggart has left TVR now -- he did the Cerb, Tuscan and T350). Surely exhausts that come out of the back then turn sideways have to be sub-optimal.

Compare to the elegance of this:

Good call! But as someone pointed out on Pistonheads, if you were to do the "manufacturers' names" thing down the front wing -- those stickers that go:
Veilside
Mugen Power
be improved by Sard
5Zigen
Toyo Tyres
etc.

then on a TVR you'd have to put:
Ford
Vauxhall
Lucas
Halfords

I want to replace the orange front indicators on my Cerb with clear ones. I know the side repeaters are from a Mk3 Fiesta, but I found out today the front ones are from a Scorpion tank!

Like all TVR's best to be avoided....

You cannot blame them for raiding other peoples parts bin, costs a fortune to design and engineer items such as indicators...

It's motor show time. TVR have a tradition of creating these sort of beasties. Not such a daft thing to do, when you consider that the more outlandish it looks, the more chance they have of getting £5-6 million worth of free full page advertising in the national & motoring press.
Obviously they've had to go some this year to top that MG monster

Here here! Yes different, but in the right direction. However if you look at Subaru, that new nose for the B11something (can't remember the name), well that is something different and unfortunately in the wrong direction!.

Its not at all silly, the car had been designed for one purpose only. Its a homologation car, they have designed it primarily to convert easily into a race car. Aerodynamically there's not much you can to a basic road car to improve it for racing, so TVR decided to build a road car with all the splitters, spoilers and vents on the car in the first place. Its looks have come about purely to win on the race track, but even so I think it looks the dogs bollox as a road car.

I agree with Matt85, does look like a Batmobile. Though it also looks kind of "crashed" too. Hopefully it'll look better in the flesh.

Not sure about the front lights either; look like a cross between the Blobeye and the Smart Roadster...
