Audi S6 Question
#1
Upgrading the wifes Chrysler Voyager over Xmas and she had her sights set on a Saab 9-3 but whilst on the tinternet last night I saw a very nice coloured blue - Audi S6 model 2000 with 63k on for £15k...it had all the bells 4.2 V8 even paddle shift!...got me to thinking.
I drive an 03 WRX PPP, not expecting it to have the same almighty grunt but does anyone know anything about them and is that a good deal?

At 340 bhp I think you'll find "grunt" wise it'll not be far off your Subaru.
0-100 I doubt it'll be far behind you.
It will have miles better build quality though
Never driven an S6, but I've got an S8 (after 3 Scoobies) and I wouldn't go back.
www.audi-sport.net is probably your best bet....

Never driven one, but I know evo mag rated it highly. Not quite up there with an M5 for tactile response, but not far off and a far more sporting bias than a TT225 for example.
The lesser A6 4.2Q (310bhp I think) was described as a grown-up executive Scoob (or words to that effect).
They only came with tiptronic shift by the way - no manual option.

Forgot to say - I still have evo mags with S6 tests (including a group test with M5 and XJ8R ~ email me your address if you are interested and I'll look them out and send you the mags.
