New shape BMW M5
#1
Any ideas as to when this will be available, i'm actually looking to buy the current shape, so I am hoping the new shape will bring a few more onto the second hand market.
Does this happen as a rule anyway, i would assume that dealers will get loads of M5 as trade ins for the new shape?

Was visiting a BMW garage today with a friend..The new 5 series looks nice...except the terrible dash design....looks like a bloody big dipper. Why all this stupid curvy type design...Spoils the whole car

Hmmm, new M5 looks lurvley, V10, 500+ bhp...
It will be launched in January at a motor show, and then goes on sale in Spring '04.
I expect it will have a material impact on 'old' M5 shape, but saying that you can get early M5s for 30k or less now.
Probably best to wait until the UK launch in Spring?

Sorry to go off on a tangent, but while I was in Paris a few months ago a new shape 5 series went screaming past me not far from where Diana crashed.
It being night and the 5 series being metallic black the car looked awesome (and sounded) - wasn't a fan beforehand, I'm now a convert!
