Could anyone tell me a good forum for these, looking to buy one in the near future and would appreciate any buying tips/what to look for (or anyone that has a nice one for sale for that matter )

You have to make sure that the 328 has FBMWSH, as certain MY suffered from borewash on the cylinders, So if you find one with an engine replacement with fsh you know why.....

Yup I had a 328 coupe and took it to BMW and the fitted new motor..
there are also some recalls on rear suspension IIRC - make sure that's been done or gets done..

you can turn these into M3 look a likes quite easily, in reality they are not that much slower either
just need some Evo front seats, mirrors and splitter and it's done

Hmmm, 193bhp 5 speed plays 321bhp 6 speed, an advantage of 128 bhp, or in other words an increase of 66% in power ....... yes the 328 is a quick car, but on anything other than tight winding B-roads where huge power is less significant, the M3 Evo makes a 328 look dog slow. If you were referring to the former 286bhp version of the M3, then yes the gap is less pronounced. Evos are very, very fast cars in the right hands.
