I think Revo are about the best, as everything is done via the service port, have a look on http://www.revotechnik.com/uk/ukrevo.html for power curves etc.

They do a free 5 hour trial, which will automatically revert back to the original map

JABBA JABBA JABBA.

Take one totally unconvinced person moving from a Tek 2'd 99 Wagon to a 1.8T VAG 4x4.

Now have a custom remap for £425 all-in consisting of at least 20 (twenty) rolling road runs that changed 150 to 220bhp in a conservative state of tune.

After 10000m since there is no catch. Remember, this is a CUSTOM remap to your own car, not an off the shelf / on fits all solution.

I was a skeptic but Jabba are superb:-

My Impreza Tek2 : 245, 244lbft from 215bhp, 24 mpg. £695
My Jabba 4x4 Octy: 220, 230lbft from 150bhp, 30 mpg. £425

I wouldn't touch Upsolute with a barge pole. I had a bad experience with them on mine.

I'm another who will highly recommend Jabba.

SPelham

From rest and in 2nd - the Impreza
4th, 5th and motorway- the Skoda.

The Impreza was more explosive, the Skoda has MUCH better pick up from lower revs and you never have to leave 5th gear on the mway.
ie If you dropped to 50 on the motorway for roadworks, you could be caught out while the turbo spooled up from low revs.

Both great cars IMHO but I have serious respect for the Skoda and how Jabba work. Not to be run down or underestimated.
