decating a clio 172
need help the problem is the clio 172 has twin sensors on the cat one upstream one down and im about to decat mine except it only has a boss for one of them so what should i do as it will make the das light up i imagine if i just leave it hanging free so does anyone know at all
Currently you can only de-cat a mk1 172 as that is single lamba!
As you know the mk2 has a twin lambda setup and it throws a wobbly if you remove the cat. So far only Cup's with the R-Sport ECU can run a de-cat without any problems.
However, K-Tec are developing a "sports cat" for the mk2 172/Cup that gives 6-8bhp apparently, will work fine with the twin lambda's, will pass an MOT and is fully road legal, so ideal. Gonna be £250-£300 apparently when on sale.

So what did they do with the 2nd lambda then Gary???
I assume it's just mounted on the later part of the de-cat in a similar postion to where it would be in the cat?
Is there a noticable difference now?
