This is starting to look quite interesting....
DSG gearbox
Leaving aside for the moment that the article is mainly about the TT (pah!) I've decided I want that gearbox. Now
Seamless upshifts in 0.08 sec. The whole thing sounds like fun and appeals to my fundamental lazyness. And it scores very highly on the gadgetometer.
One of the downsides is that the Golf R32 out of the box is already on the torque limit for that gearbox, so any future mods which increased torque might then be ruled out...
