Car Forum Pet Hates
As title, mine are-
Grossly missinformed comments.
Wildly exadutated power/performance figures, and the people who belive them.
People "helping" but giving wildly wrong info which infact jus makes MORE people think the wrong stuff.
People who belive their cars are the best/most exclusive/fastest/most reliable things in the world.
People who slag other cars without really knowing anything, when infact the other car is infact faster/more reliable/handle better.
People who stick up for a marque and slag others wildly who dont even have one, or quite commonly dont even have anything (even a licence).
People who critisise people for speeding, or racing, or from a crash, or somthing, when they have no clue of the situation and should infact jus shut the **** up.
People who when their cars look slower for some reason bring up somthing that their car IS better at. You know- "well my cars faster in the twisties" "well my car is newer" well my cars this my cars that, like they playing fookin top trumps or somthing, lol. If your cars inferior at somthing, whoop de doo, accept it, no cars best at everything.
Im sure theres more, but thats just a few that sprang to mind.

Carlos, yup, thas deffo my worst, makes my blood boil at times, i dont take it in real life and if someones talking total crap il tell em straight, but if you do that on forums, as everyones hiding behind PC screens they not afraid to say somthing back and it turns to a load of pathetic arguing.
Its hard to resist somtimes, and TBH i did this post to vent some anger from reading some total crap on various forums in the last half hour, lol.

Heres a new one i jus remembered--
People who make up stories of previous cars they owned/drove/raced to join in a post or to try and help their argument. Esp as to anyone who has any knowlege of the cars in question can pull apart everything they say and can smell bullshat from a mile away.

Agree with the "one marque defenders" comments, just smacks of idiotic blind loyalty.
Can't agree with the comments about road racing (that's always stupid whatever the circumstances and I'm sure we are all guilty)
Add to that people who use the phrase "real world driving conditions" the journalists that popularised that phrase need shooting. Any time you drive the car is "real world driving" whatever the circumstances FFS.
edited to add: PMSL laughing at the top trumps comments- so true.

From: Lots of different places! (Thank you Mr. Lambert)
Any threads about M3's
Just kidding (mainly
)
Seriously though, the worst for me on Scoobynet is when someone posts a thread in some way regarding a particular make and model and the thread then degenerates into Scooby vs. said car with the same people contributing every time.
YAWN!!!! (Particular prevalent with the M3 boys actually
)
Regards,
tiggers.

I hate similar to the above.
Also when people tell there race stories (of course they won) and they mention the people looking shocked, straining the engine etc.
Most of the 'competitors' are probably not even racing.
But even worse is when the racers say that they stop by the side of the road after the 'race' and the other driver is always amazed at their car adding comments like 'great car' etc.
Why would someone want to pull over? most of us don't want to be held up on our journeys.
This races seem to occur between average 'performance' cars and supercars..hmmm
