Hi guys and thanks for your comments.
Quick update - the run we done 178mph was done at 1.6bar boost. We were going to do another run at 2.3bar straight after however the turbocharger core exploded!
Once I have sorted out the issue's I'll be back there to better that record again. I will be moving up to 1200 or 1000cc injectors and a even bigger turbo shortly.
Thanks again for your support and comments.

And got to bear in mind that that was at Brunters, so still accelerating by the time you have to slow down, somewhere a bit longer (like the M.way ) itl do a lot more than that speed.
Esp as that was fair way from full boost!
Geared for 200mph isnt it?

200mph? doesnt aerodynamics mean that at that speed you need like another 10% power for a 1mph power increase or something silly?
BTW, does that thing have 4wd? last time I saw it, it was 2wd?

Hello,
thanks for your comments again.
As Redkop said the car is fwd.
Mark Shead who was in the passenger seat data logged the 178 run and confirms that it was only 1.6 bar of boost. At that boost level the car did not begin to slow down or stop accelerating all the way until I came off throttle past the first speed trap. We had mapped her to 2.3 bar boost which was going to be run at the next go up the strip however as I said before the turbo core exploded.
Steve is right in the car is geared for just a tad over 200mph at redline in 5th on 205/40 tyres. How far it gets close to that figure depends on drag, power and sheer ***** (which I can confirm are huge ). Also we broke at the start of where they timed the 1/4 mile runs which was 1/4 mile before the first brake board therefore the runs we done were in the space of approx 1.2 miles.
Now that the turbo is being replaced it will be swapped with an even bigger unit along with a set of 1000cc or 1200cc injectors = more power.
We are now in the process of sorting everything out so that Mark can have the car back to work his magic one more time.
Watch this space.
Thanks - Sunny.

Over 2.3 bar with current turbo is over 500bhp. Until the engine is dyno'ed for proper flywheel figure or rolled at G-Force for proper @ wheels figure it's not easy to quote figures until I get the proper evidence first. So far we have proof of 178mph using 1.6 bar in the space of 1.2 miles and a quater mile time of 13.1 @ 124mph using 1.1 bar of boost at TOTB2 due to slipping clutch. New turbo will be bigger, more fuel with the bigger injectors + another secondary pump will have to be introduced also...more power.
Hopefully that should give you a rough idea of whats to come.
The greed 4 speed...just can't get enough of it!
Thanks - Sunny.
