After infinetly searching...I've almost lost hope.

What I'm after is a 2nd hand Borg Warner model 35, 65 or 66 Auto gearbox with the bellhousing to fir a Rover V8, and all the other bits to make it work.

Typically when I need one, they've all seemed to have disppeared off the face of the earth I seemed to reacll 12months back people were giving the things away!

Anyone have any ideas where to get one that's not extortionate on prices?

Try JPAT in Bristol - www.jpat.co.uk. They do reconditioned auto units, but can't vouch for their prices.

The recon path is a bit of a no-no - too expensive. Cheers anyway.

I could do it myself if I could find a parts supplier that will sell me a seal kit to recon the valve block on my current autobox.

Ahh well, worth a try
